Transformational Leaders & Management Training:
This capacity building learning event is designed for workforce professionals who hold a leadership or supervisory position within their organization, and who are charged with regional coordination and/or internal team management of business services staff and their working relationships with their respective career coaches and external partners in community colleges and economic development. The business services leader will be facilitated through a structured process that results in a cultural shift to build transformational relationships with businesses, partners and their respective teams. Accredited Business Engagement Practitioner Certification:
If third-party validated providers are required to train WIOA customers, shouldn’t WIOA-funded organizations require it for themselves? Credentials matter in the world of professional development. The Business Engagement Practitioner Certification course culminates with an interactive capstone project to provide student-practitioners with the opportunity to demonstrate that they have achieved the Certification’s outcomes and the necessary skills to attract business and industry as a partner (in sector strategies, career pathways, and work-based learning), as a customer (with government-funded services), and as a funder (to invest and leverage). Mystery Shopping Program:
Customer-focused service delivery is a key component of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) to ensure that the workforce system designs innovative products and services that are truly responsive to customer needs. Mystery shopping is a highly effective tool that captures data from client experiences to inform current cultural and operational processes to improve service levels for job seekers and employers. Shops use simple and “real life” scenarios that align with defined scripts for shoppers to follow; coupled with professional training to conduct the “shop” successfully, and a standardized rubric to capture data accurately. The baseline evaluation is then used to design a customized and accredited Customer Service Boot Camp that addresses the key issues uncovered from the mystery shopping analysis.
